Jordan Greenhalgh, RIT, is greatly inspired by the persistence of vision; the idea that one's mind retains an image for a brief moment and will naturally relate subsequent images, thus creating movement in film. With this in mind he strives to bring concept and visual aesthetics together through the experimentation of frame-by-frame filmmaking. Jordan currently attends The Rochester Institute of Technology's Film and Animation program; and hopes to continue his experimentations with frame-by-frame film making in a professional setting in the future.

Rachel Kingston, SUNY Geneseo, is currently an undergraduate junior attending the State University of New York at Geneseo. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with concentrations in Media, Journalism, and Integrated Marketing. Her ultimate goal is to work in broadcast news in some capacity. Rachel has discovered through internships, classes, and involvement in campus media that she would be happy working in either the radio or television fields. She also feels comfortable – whether it be the so-called, “glamorous” jobs reporting and anchoring or in a more behind-the-scenes position in broadcast production, web development, or media relations/management. When she first starts out, Rachel would like to travel and work in a few different markets . Rachel says she has a general plan, but she is more looking forward to being surprised by the specific details of all the opportunities that will eventually present themselves.

Anna Rissew, Genesee Community College, is currently enrolled in the Communications and Media Arts program at GCC. Some of her classes include Broadcasting and Advanced Video Production. Cara's short term goals are to improve her overall film skills, from preproduction all the way to the end of post-production. She is looking into taking 3D Animation and becoming better at that as well. To put it simply Cara is doing what she can to gain experience and build a good demo-reel for when she enters the workforce. Her long term goal is to get a decent job either directing films or working with animation in some way. What she really hopes is that one day she will be able to open her own animation film studio and produce her own series of shows and films.

Leonard Smith, Monroe Community College, is a second year student at MCC. He is currently enrolled in the VC02 program (Visual Communications Tech., Photography & Television). Leonard's short term goal is to continue his education at MCC and receive an A.A.S. degree, which will hopefully get him into RIT so he can pursue his Master's degree in Communications. From there, he wants to open up a local not-for-profit organization catering to urban youth - teaching them how to be media saavy and recognize how media affects peoples everyday lives. He wants to show people how to utilize the media as a tool for success, giving them a positive alternative avenue to follow versus the perils of the inner-city street life.
